Timely Updates to Help You Stay Connected to Your Plan

Use these tools to keep you informed.

Did you know that there are multiple ways for UnitedHealthcare Group Medicare Advantage plan members to get plan updates? Options such as downloading the UnitedHealthcare® app, signing up for helpful calls, and opting in to paperless and texting updates help make it easy to stay connected to your plan information. Learn about how each option works below.

UnitedHealthcare app

The UnitedHealthcare app gives you access to plan details in an instant, whether you’re at home or on the go.* You can look for care options and estimate out-of-pocket costs, learn what your plan covers, view claims and more.

 Here’s what to know:

  • Some plans include access to virtual care, which can be scheduled in the app
  • Depending on your plan, prescription refills may be ordered in the app, helping you get medication on time; you can also see prices and find pharmacies
  • The app includes a digital copy of your member ID to show when checking in for health appointments

To download the app, visit the Apple® App Store® or Google Play.

Sign up for helpful calls

When you sign up for helpful calls, you’ll get reminders about health care screenings and information about your plan to keep you informed. This service helps you get the most from your plan. With so much to explore, these calls can keep you up to date about your options.

To
sign up for these plan updates, visit your member site or the UnitedHealthcare app. Or call the number on your member ID card.

Go paperless

In some cases, paperless communications can be the simplest way to get regular plan updates. With safe, secure online access to your health documents, you can quickly find what you need anytime. This also helps cut down on the amount of paper mail you receive while still getting plan updates in one place.

Paperless delivery can be used for benefit and plan information, claims billing and payments, health care reminders, programs and services. When new communications and statements are ready online, you’ll get an email to let you know.

Interested in going paperless? Sign in to your member site to update your communications preferences to Paperless.
